I took my cat into Southern Rockies Animal Emergency + Specialty yesterday for an abscess on his back. I was quickly taken to an exam room, where the vet tech as well as the vet came in within minutes to exam him. Dr. Acquaviva was very kind and thorough with his exam and treatment plan. My cat was then sedated in order to have his abscess drained, however he turned into an absolute DEMON when coming down from the sedation in the exam room! He was actually quite dangerous due to his aggression and the situation was a little scary, but the staff handled it incredibly well. I am so thankful for Cierra's calm attitude and her truly genuine concern for my safety and wellbeing. We eventually got him home and he is doing well. Thank you Southern Rockies Animal Emergency!!

Our 4 year-old cat, Oreo, suddenly became paralyzed and was moaning in pain. He was under the care of Southern Rockies Animal ER and the care was exceptional. His condition was not recoverable, and Dr. Maybach was the attending veterinarian that helped us throughout the process on the final day. She is by far one of the most compassionate and caring veterinarians we have encountered while living across the USA. We cannot thank her enough for her kindness and patience to explain his prognosis and all other questions we had. It was devastating leaving the animal hospital without our boy, but she allowed us to have a personable experience during our last moments together. Picture of our boy while he was under their care.

This clinic always provides courteous, professional care and we're thankful to have them so close. Of course, wait times can be long but that is the nature of an ER and we appreciate that y'all are doing your absolute best. Both the ladies working the front desk were very helpful (I'm sorry that I don't recall their names) and Dr Lisa Carroll cared for our pup well and made us feel confident about how best to care for her. And the vet tech we saw (again, sorry to not remember her name) was great as well. . What I appreciated most is the courtesy, professionalism, communication, and empathy from all staff we interacted with, medical and admin.
